Celebrate Valentines Day with Co-Workers

I always looked forward to Valentines Day.

When I was single I'd have a Girl's Night at my place.

A party with food, chick flicks and manicures.

We only did it one year.

After that all of us were dating guys.

At work I would hand out Garfield Valentines to everyone on my team (150 people) along with
a little heart chocolate and a candy.

People asked what's this for?

I told them it was for doing a good job.

Team spirit.

I would motivate my team to get some good sales.

We usually were in the top 5 of selling teams.

Using my youtube channel idea girl consulting I've been making videos with fashion photos of celebrities, movies, bands, artists, and topics that I like blogging about.

I am a writer, I do have novels that are unpublished so I'll be having some fun with those next.

Today while I was exercising I had a wonderful idea to start some new youtube channels and start making my own little movies and stories.

I once had this idea of making easy adult reading books.  The websites didn't grab anyone's attention.

So I'm going to try a different method.

I'll do little character story lines.

It's a great way for you all to get familiar with my characters before you read the book.

It will also generate some interest in the book before it's published.

If that doesn't work, I'll come up with another idea!

I like to keep Sunday's as my family day.

A day to spend with loved ones.

A day to sleep in and take it easy.

A day to reflect on the week that has passed.

A day to think about what to do for next week.

We went to see The book of Eli.

I'll be doing a movie review on it this week.

Organize your office

Its a lot easier to work in an organized office space then in a mess.

You spend less time looking for things.

Not only should you organize your office, but organize your files on your computer.

I noticed it was taking me too long to find pictures on my computer.

So I created a "youtube" file.

Now I just go there and find what I need.

I hear this is a great book to read.  I'll be looking for some interviews and videos on this author in the near future.

Helium - Idea Girl - Linda Randall

It's been awhile since I wrote anything on Helium.  I find it difficult to write over 400 words at a time.  I get all muddled up in my thought and my typing becomes painful in some cases.

It's frustrating at times, because of my fingers or my brain not functioning the way it should.

A three year struggle for me to learn how to write novels and now I struggle to write articles too.

I like the shorter tweets on twitter or on facebook, because it doesn't take a lot of thought.

I'm still polishing my grammar skills and if I use Microsoft Word, it catches all my poor sentence structures.

In the old days, we would just write and that was it, now I have to correct my grammar and writing skills, because I want to do this professionally. :)

I'm wondering what ever possessed Miley Cyrus to leave her fans hanging with no Twitter Updates?

All because her boyfriend doesn't want her on there?

What's up with that?

Hope he isn't some kind of control freak, or she's going to have bigger problems down the road if they last that long.

Now according to tabloids the girl is fighting with Billy Ray Cyrus?

How can a relationship, hormones and teen years, screw up everything?

I'll tell you how, by falling for a guy then turning your world upside down.

Believe me when I say I've been down that path before, and I regretted it!

The Pay Pal Nightmare For a Canadian

I tried to update myself, I really did.
But I just couldn't do it.
I had knotts in my gutt while I filled out the online application for Pay Pal.

Then I got on the phone with customer service to ask a hundred questions.

After about 4 hours on the phone with the bank and CSRS I find out that I'm supposed to have an American Bank Account?
Say WHAT!!!!

I had spent all that time, research for nothing.

So I got fed up, cancelled the canadian bank account and pay pal.

I'll tackle this problem again next week.

I really want to find something that doesn't charge 2.9% for every transaction?
What a rip off!

It's not so bad if you make small amounts of money.

But what if, my writing pays well in the future?

I don't want to be stuck paying fees of $30 up to $100 to cash a big time cheque!

I'm dreaming, I know but really, If I'm going to be a successful writer, I have to look at the future needs of my financial transactions.

I hate fees, and I hate banking stuff.

I'm always looking for the best deals and I still haven't found an answer to this stupid problem. :)

Today.Com Has Disappeared!

I usually post some blogs on my Witty Woman Today site, but for the past week I have been unable to?
Either the sites down from head office or someone went after them for what they have done in the past.
I wonder if it was a hacker getting revenge, maybe the server decided to close it down?
Did they get sued for monies not paid?
If anybody knows or can post a URL with the info, please do so here! :)
