2009 Goals Met for The Idea Girl Says - Idea Girl Consulting - Linda Randall

Here is another boring report, but I'm just so excited I reached 2 goals on Monday Dec 28th, 2009 by 12 midnight.

16,192 page views in one day on Idea Girl Consulting Word Press bringing the mass total to 378,978 (maybe I'll hit 400,000 soon! SWEET)

100,000 page views on The Idea Girl Says Word Press.

I did post a note on Twitter asking people to help me reach a goal of 10,000 hits in a day about 4 days ago, then it went 12,000, then 16,000.

Next weeks goal will be 20,000 hits in one day!

I hope I can keep the momentum rolling?

Last time I got all excited, they dropped down to 500 hits in one day. LOL

I'm still trying to find the right formula.

So far, it's this.

Post lots of different things that are related to your Niche, use tags, youtube videos, pictures, and let everyone on Twitter know what you are doing.

I also expanded my social networks on LINKED IN, Twitter, FACEBOOK, Groups, Yahoo Groups and I submitted some URLS to BING and visit other peoples sites, and comment with URL to blogs.
Oh yeah, and the BIG thing for me, was that Grant helped me set up a blog on The St Catharines Standard site, where I can post anything I want!

I was also invited to start writing movie reviews from some prestigious site (thats what the email says? LOL) and to guest blog for someone else.

I'm not sure I want to guest blog too much.  I've got so much on my plate already, with my new goals for 2010, to get something revised and sent to a publisher. :)

That was my strategy this week to increase my traffic to my two blogs.

I like making movies about Twilight, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, the Quillete Tribe and the Volturi from the books, movies by Stephanie Meyers in Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

I am a Harry Potter fan, so I post videos about Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Robert Pattinson and other cast members.

I watch American Idol and I'm a fan of Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, David Cook, David Archuletta , Jordan Sparks and Chris Daughtry.  I often post information, interviews and new music by these artists.

America's Next Top Model - Tyra Banks, is one of my favorite TV Shows and I have them in my blogs.  I will be making new videos in 2010 about everything that I like to blog about and putting it on my youtube channel for future reference.

Idea Girl Consulting Word Press

Just a note to let everyone know that I changed my blog title from Idea Girl Consulting - The Idea Girl Says to Idea Girl Consulting Word Press.

I also added Word Press to The Idea Girl Says.

Now both titles will match their URLS.

Simple, the same as my URL and it's how I've referred to it in numerous comments, posts and tags.

Google will pick up my site faster now, with all three things being the same.

At least that's what Search Engine Optimization writer's say.

I changed the name of my blog before, it was called Idea Girl Consulting's Blog.

After changing the name and the picture, I lost a couple thousand readers. :)
I don't know what happened but it's slowly been going down from 1,000's per day to around 400 hits.

It could be that some of my articles (Twilight, New Moon , Miley Cyrus and Michael Jackson) were hogging all the hits.

I noticed that not every one of my articles get any readers.

Today I was looking at an article about Blogs that get published.

Mine is all over the place, and that's why they say it's important to find your niche and stick to it.

Problem is that I'm a Gemini and I love changing stuff constantly.

I should use that to my advantage.

New Moon - Death Cab for Cuties - Meet Me On The Equinox Youtube Video Mania!

I've been busy for the past 2 hours posting to my blog and found all sorts of different variations of the song with new pictures from several fans, including an interview with Death Cab for Cuties while they were on tour with Neil Young .

I've posted the youtube music video with new moon's first movie soundtrack release - death cab for cuties - meet me on the equinox along with David Strick's 40 new moon set pictures taken earlier this week!

I finally figured out how to add links to my Idea Girl Consulting Word Press site.

I assumed by publishing the comments from people that their Urls would show on the site, but it looks like you have to click on the comments cloud to see them!

Now I know how to exchange links, and I still haven't figured out what a back link is, I am assuming it means that I exchange a link to the other person's website and they do the same for me.

I think that is what a backlink is...

Why is it that when we get a boyfriend or girlfriend that everything changes around us?

Our friends can't hang with us as much because so and so doesn't like each other.

Do you have that problem?

Sometimes you make sacrifices for your special someone but look at the reasons for it and very carefully decide if that's what you want.

If your friend is a good person and brings joy into your life, don't give them up, ever.

If your friend causes negativity in your life or your relationship, then give them up.

It's not worth all the drama!
