Writing Christmas Stories with Daisy the Toy Poodle - Linda Randall

I was thinking since I'm writing Christmas Stories this month, I should take some more photos of Daisy with her new outfits that I've been finding at the store.
Lisa has some really adorable ones, and coats for a very reasonable price.
There's a little pink flannel outfit with little black paws on it for about $10.
See that little dog on the floor? He was yapping his head off at Daisy and making her shake like a leaf. This is the before picture of her. Lisa is holding her up for us to take a photo.
I spotted it today when Daisy went to get her hair done.
I'll have to go back and get it, I was short on cash.
After paying $18 bucks for Harry's hair cut at the Den (yep I made a video on my camera, still have to edit it and post that one too) and $35 for Daisy's doo I was scraping the bottom the cash barrel.
then Harry wanted to have Pete's Pizza.
I had $10 bucks so I said if he could find a coupon for a pizza he could get one.
He found one on top of the fridge (DAM) and so bye bye $10 LOL

It was $10.49 with three items from Pete's Pizza
he ordered it with pepperoni, pineapple and extra cheese.
Delicious!
12 slice too, it pays to look in those VALPACK coupon envelopes.

the idea girl says
doing the tv taping today was one of the pinnacle moments of my life. Even if I wasn't being interviewed (future plans are in the works for that) I got to see how nerve wracking it is to be on television.
A whole camera crew, the producer - Joann and a truck recording Liz McCallum's one hour tv special.
It will be airing sometime in January on Channel 10 for Cogeco.
It would be really cool if some other networks would pick it up and use it too.
I know Ophrah Winfrey would be delighted with Liz and her story.
I told Liz she needs to write a book and then we will send it to Ophrah for her to read. :)

Short Story Writing is easier then doing a novel by Linda Randall
It's 218 am now, kind of sleepy.
I've been posting music videos all night for writers typing tunes.
January is coming up and we all start rewriting our NaNoWriMo novels.
I will be joining the rest of them.
I need to make a 1200 word count short story for Grammy's Magic Cottage then enter it into a Children's Short Story Contest.
From what I've seen most authors, they win a few short story contests first.
Get some published clips, then Literary Agents are more interested in them.
Next on my authors platform - agenda. ;)

I love going here to work on a new novel, to sit and think and to enjoy the fireplace, the news (big screen tv) and the ambiance.
This is only a 10 minute walk from the St Catharines Enterprise Centre, Red Hot Chili Pepper where nGen and it's partners have their media mashups about four times a year.
The Enterprise Centre has seminars running every week on different topics pertaining to business, marketing, laws, proposals and more. A resource centre for those starting a company or already in business and needing some advice about things.
A community project that works with Brock University and Niagara College to help create businesses and jobs in the Niagara Region.

The St Catharines Enterprise Centre, Ngen and Niagara College Offices are located here at 1 St Paul Street, by Ontario St, Westchester Ave and St Paul West in St Catharines, ON, Canada
The Chili Pepper is right next door where the 211 Interactive held it's latest media mashup for local video , graphic artists. The next mashup will be in March 2011 so stay tuned for details.
There are seminars running here all the time, so in between them you can pop over to Coffee Culture for a quick bite to eat , drink or even some dessert!

I'm starting a new client referral program where I take photos of a business and blog about them to bring more business to the area.
Downtown St Catharines has always struggled over the past ten years or so to get people to come and shop there.
I'm working on a sales and marketing technique to change that.
I've chosen a few businesses as an example of how powerful the internet can be in the advertising world.
Brochures are great for the locals but what you really want is people from all over the world, who come to the Niagara Region as tourists, to check out your establishment and spend their hard earned money.
When I do a review I'll be posting it on YELP and RESTAURANTICA with photos to give these businesses exposure on the net that they didn't have before.
Many people are "old school" they do not have time to use a computer, therefore the "internet" is a foreign thought to them.
I intend to change all that in my own little way.

I've been getting some cds from the library
and saving them to my computer to use for the videos.
I wish there was some way to link the music directly to itunes?

Starting a new company called IGC Entertainment Canada - Youtube
So far I've created 2 blogs and 1 youtube account for my new media, music, entertainment company called IGC Entertainment Canada.

As you know Idea Girl Consulting is more about business, writing and novels. So I wanted to start an entertainment company.
the jokes on me though, I just called Cogeco and I CANNOT get the higher speed package for $64/month which would give me more than 125 gig uploads.
I have 30 gig now and I am always cutting it close.
Since I plan to do a web tv show next year I need more upload privileges.
I can get PRO but it's $30 more per month.
Sucks to be me.... LOL

Happy Remembrance Day to the world from the idea girl - Linda Randall
Posting videos from youtube veteran fans for World Wars I and II and the most recent wars.
We will always remember our loved ones from years ago.
I loved it when Grandpa Randall used to tell us all about his "war" stories.
Two of my grandfathers died with a veteran's funeral honoring them.
The other two grandpas were in the war but they had a regular funeral.
It's something else with the gun salutes, flags and everyone dressed in their uniforms.
This morning I am celebrating Remembrance Day for Canada, United States and Britain.
